About the Artist

Salma Mohamed Ali is a graphic designer born in 2000. She is a graduate of Applied Arts, majoring in Graphic Design, from the German University in Cairo. She has also completed four advanced-level branding projects as part of her pre-master’s studies. Her bachelor project was selected as one of the best Applied Sciences & Arts bachelor projects for the academic year 2023 and was exhibited at the faculty’s Best of Bachelor 2023 exhibition at the German University in Cairo. She received a Top Packaging Design Award from Dabur Egypt for designing a packaging system for a complete haircare range and has also participated in the fourth edition of Cairo Prints.Working in design has been her dream since discovering her passion for art and creativity. She is on a path to channel her passion into a career where she envisions creating functional artworks and communicating ideas through design. She is also interested in fashion, music, and pop culture.She is currently employed as a graphic designer at noon, where she contributes to creating customer-centric, commercially focused designs displayed on noon’s website and mobile application in both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
