About the Artist
Mo Hussein (b. 1989) is a Design Supervisor and visual artist at Shahid, based in the United Arab Emirates.He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University; however, his lifelong passion for art and drawing led him to pursue a creative path. Through workshops and hands-on experience in advertising, he built a career that enabled him to collaborate with major brands, including Unilever, Shell, Mars, and more. In 2017, Mohamed moved to the UAE, where he worked with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture in Dubai, and the Sharjah Heritage Institute before joining MBC. At Shahid, he has created posters and key visuals for numerous Originals and advertising campaigns, establishing himself as a valued member of the design team. Much of Mohamed’s inspiration comes from Egyptian culture and the environments that have surrounded him throughout his journey. Living abroad has deepened his connection to his homeland, particularly his beloved Alexandria, which continues to influence his artistic vision. His independent digital artworks allow him to freely express ideas, emotions, and reflections shaped by culture and memory, creating a balance between professional rigor and personal artistic freedom.
