About the Artist

Sherine is a graphic designer, graduating from the German University in Cairo in 2021. Her interests lie in exploring themes about cultural identity through the perspective of design. She is the creator of Makhtout, which serves as a research-based and experimentation-oriented platform focused on the study and exploration of Arabic-Islamic manuscripts in the context of contemporary graphic design.
