About the Artist

Shahenda Fawzy (b. 1999) is an Egyptian illustrator based in Alexandria. She graduated in Cinema, TV, and Theater Design from Alexandria University's Faculty of Fine Arts and has nurtured a passion for art since childhood. Shahenda’s work, marked by a whimsical style inspired by emotions, moods, and life experiences, aims to spark thought and create memorable imagery. Her illustrations and character designs have been featured in notable exhibitions, including Finding Royer (2021) and Khaled El-Khamisi: Visual Interpretations for El-Shamandar Novel (2020) at Shelter Art Space, as well as the Agenda exhibition at Bibliotheca Alexandrina (2022 and 2024).
