About the Artist

Nour Tarabieh (born 2001) is an Egyptian illustrator, graphic designer, and comic artist based between Alexandria and Cairo. She graduated in Spring 2024 from the American University in Cairo, earning a double degree in Graphic Design and English and Comparative Literature. She is passionate about science fiction, comics, Egyptian history, and books of all kinds.Her first self-published project, Alexandria Diaries, is an anthology of ten short comic stories about the cosmopolitan residents of Alexandria. Her original short sci-fi comic, Party on Europa, won first place in the Graphic Novel category of the AUC Author’s Challenge in 2020. Her work has been exhibited at Comixandria and the Cairo Art Book Fair.She is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Graphic Design department at Coventry University.
