About the Artist

Jumana Samy is a graphic designer born in Sharjah, UAE in 2001. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree in visual communication at the American University of Sharjah, She is currently pursuing freelance opportunities and personal development workshops and courses. Throughout her studies, she has completed two short-term internships at Fikra Design Studio and Women Leaders in Data and AI. Jumana is interested in the handmade and experimental aspect of design, an aspect which she explores through poster design, zine design and printmaking.
