About the Artist

Wiljen aka Jennifer Awad, is a French-Egyptian expatriate born in 1990 and based in Cairo. She is the Executive Manager of Cadre frames, the largest picture frames factory in Egypt. She holds a master’s degree in business law from the Sorbonne University in Paris. In 2015, she moved to Egypt to take over Cadre’s executive management, heading a team of 40 employees. Wiljen works with leading hotel brands in Egypt and abroad. She imagines a unique artistic identity to create memorable spaces. She finds her inspiration in everyday life scenes and unique Egyptian landscapes.
