About the Artist

Ibraheem has developed a unique, inclusive design perspective through diverse cultural experiences spanning Hong Kong, Boston, Toronto, Riyadh, Cairo, Ho Chi Minh City, and now Montréal and Seoul. These experiences led him to co-found Station Design Bureau in Montréal with Mahmoud Hamdy in Seoul.His work has been featured in exhibitions including In the City at P21 Gallery, London; Bad Dads at Lopo Gallery, San Francisco; Is This Thing On? at Gallery 1988, Los Angeles; Profilers at Gallery KOP, Breda, Holland; Tarantino Vs. Coen at Bold Hype, New York City; Videogame Show at Gallery 1988, Santa Monica; Multiplayer x2 at Gallery 1988, Los Angeles; and Cairo 20x20 at The Mascot, Toronto. His work has received recognition from The Guardian, Creative Review, Graphis, and Fast Company, with participation in Graphic Design Breda Festival and Dubai Design Week.A passionate advocate for design and creativity, Ibraheem’s values were shaped during his studies at Fine Arts Zamalek and the Ontario College of Art & Design. His advocacy is reflected in appearances on CBC Power & Politics promoting governmental design investment policy, founding the Design in Asia series with BrandinginAsia.com, and guest lecturing on design and creativity at Toronto Metropolitan University.
