About the Artist

Hagar Barakat, born in 1996, is an Egyptian visual artist and designer. She graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Sculpture Department, where she built a strong foundation in fine arts and three-dimensional practice. Her artistic path includes participation in major exhibitions such as Art D’Égypte’s Cairo Art District (2021, 2022) and the Mou’nath Exhibition (2020). She has also participated in the 30th, 32nd, 33rd, and 34th Youth Salon, demonstrating her active engagement with Egypt’s contemporary art scene. In addition to her practice as a sculptor and visual artist, Hagar has advanced her career in design. She is currently the Head of Design at Dash Management Agency, where she leads creative direction and visual strategy across diverse projects. Through both art and design, Hagar Barakat continues to shape a distinctive presence in Egypt’s cultural and creative industries.
