About the Artist

Farida Mazhar (b. 1996) is a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist based in Cairo. A graduate of the German University in Cairo, she works across editorial design, cultural branding, and multidisciplinary design projects. Alongside her professional work, she has a personal interest in ephemera, often exploring it as a storytelling medium by reworking archival material through contemporary design systems.Farida’s work has received international recognition, with features in the International Poster Competition INTL in Glasgow, Scotland (2022), the 100 Best Arabic Posters Competition in Cairo, Egypt (2023), and the Hundred Points Exhibition in Austin, Texas (2025).In addition to her independent practice, Farida is a Senior Designer at Ntsal Cairo, where she combines hands-on creative work with mentoring and guiding teams to shape projects across diverse fields
