About the Artist

Eman Elsammany, born in 1999, is an architect, teaching assistant, and all-around art enthusiast whose work spans painting, sketching, and design in many forms without being bound to a single style. She finds inspiration in her surroundings, reflected in the culture and its people, architecture, food, and the subtle details of daily life. Her work is a tribute to the cultural threads woven into everyday life, part of a larger story still unfolding and a picture still in the making.
