About the Artist

Dalia Safar, born in 1995 in Fayoum, Egypt, is an architectural engineer, digital artist, and game developer who loves blending art, storytelling, and technology.After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at Fayoum University, she explored diverse creative fields, including advertising, media production, architecture, and game production—her true happy place. She mainly focuses on environment art, which she finds architectural but more fun. Her journey as a freelancer has allowed her to collaborate with creatives from Egypt and around the world.Believing that games are powerful tools for storytelling, immersion, and problem-solving, she focused her MA research in Digital Cultures at University College Cork—funded by the Digital Egyptian Builders initiative—on how games can support neurodivergent learners, particularly those with ADHD. Currently, with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, she is pursuing a second MA in Game Design across Portugal, Belgium, and Finland.Outside her creative work, Dalia enjoys walking with music or a podcast in her ears, exploring new places, watching documentaries, and diving into history and cultures. She loves food (but not cooking), and, of course, art and video games.
