About the Artist

Celine is an illustrator and designer born in 1998 and based in Cairo. She earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the German University in Cairo. The concepts behind her illustrations are often inspired by the wide spectrum of human emotions and storytelling. Learning and experimenting with different mediums, styles, colors, typography, and layouts have helped her discover her preferred approach to drawing, which involves mixing different mediums together. She has worked on various projects, including album cover design, character design, and poster design. Her illustrated posters were selected for the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 100 Best Arabic Poster, and she was interviewed about her work by It’s Nice That in 2021
