About the Artist

Beshoy Youssef, an Egyptian artist born on the 8 th of March 1990 and graduated from Faculty o Engineering - Cairo University. After graduation he decided to shift his career by retrieving his childhood dream of being a storyteller so he studied graphic design and created (Besha’s studio). In 2022, he created his own brand (Bashasha) which is specialized in creating unique and customized t-shirt designs. In 2012, Beshoy studied cinema and attended many classes and workshops with great filmmakers. He wrote and directed many short films, which were screened in numerous national and international film festivals. His latest film was broadcast on BBC Arabic in (Cinema Badela) program and his first feature film (Nawal’s scissors) which was nominated in Sawiris Foundation 2021.
