About the Artist

Basma Hosam is an illustrator and author who studied Graphics at the Faculty of Fine Arts, 2018. She has experience with working on illustrations of children's books that were published in Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, UAE, USA, UK and beyond. She has worked with Oxford University on Arabic language development projects and her own books got shortlisted in several children's books prizes. One work of hers, a book authored and illustrated by herself, won Abdelaziz Mansour Publishing Prize 2019.
