About the Artist

Amira Khaled is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist born in 1997. She has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Her passion for exploring different materials and crafts led her to join the diploma programme of Art at Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, where she specialized in pottery. Her works are influenced by her fascination with Islamic manuscripts and Tezhip. Amira won the first place in a competition by 7up Egypt for designing visual packaging to revive Egyptian art in 2018. She also took part in the “Doha Prints” exhibition at Studio 7 in Qatar, 2022.
